Zamfara Insecurity: Declare State of Emergency- Senator Saidu Muhammad Dansadau advise FG


An elder statesman Senator Saidu Mohammed Dansadau  has raised the alarm that the entire zamfara state is rampaged by armed bandits, called federal government to declare state of emergency to save the state.

Addressing a press conference  today in Gusau senator Dansadau disclosed that no where is safe in Zamfara state.

According to him,something urgent need to be done, in a very serious note,people of Zamfara state were  unfairly treated by the federal government security situation has become worth.

He said if President Muhammad Buhari wanted to bring an end to insecurity in the state, something need to be done seriously and advised him to declare state of emergency in the state.

He maintained that as a result of the activities of armed bandits who operate all round and kills,rapes and destroys properties ,his party NRM has suspended its state wide campaign till further notice.

He revealed that the suspension of campaign was to sympathize,as solidarity and support to victims over the barbaric ,unprecedented and wanton killing in the state.

Senator Dansadau who is now eyeing for Governorship in Zamfara state under national rescue movement (NRM) lamented that the insecurity situation has worthen in the state, ” the situation is from bad to worth”.

He blamed state and federal government for their non challants attitude to insecurity in Zamfara.

Dansadau said the recent deployment of additional troops to Zamfara state has even worthen the security situation,it has not produce the desire result.

He said in his effort to give more useful advised on the way to address the issue of insecurity in Zamfara state, he  wrote letters to President Muhammad Buhari, secretary to the federal government Mr.Boss Mustafa and mamman Dauran to give him an audience but all in vein.
